Market breakfast - a Rheinhessen speciality

It's Saturday morning, the sun is shining. I'm just setting the breakfast table when a better idea comes to me: instead of jam rolls and coffee at the dining room table, today it's "Weck, Worscht und Woi" in the open air. Buns, sausage and wine early in the morning? That's the market breakfast - one of the most beautiful traditions in Rheinhessen. Started more than 25 years ago in Mainz, it is now an integral part of many weekly markets in many cities and towns in Rheinhessen. So I take my shopping basket and set off.
