Orient in Rheinhessen: A visit to four "pagan tower churches
People in Rheinhessen often like to follow in the footsteps of wine - but in the footsteps of the Orient? That's also possible, because the region is home to four architecturally unique churches. Today, I'm taking a look at the "Heidenturmkirchen" and visiting the wine villages of Guntersblum, Alsheim, Dittelsheim-Heßloch and the city of Worms. What do these Christian churches have to do with pagans? And what distinguishes each church in its own way? In my search for answers, I come across many exciting stories!
