A summit tour in Rheinhessen: The Petersberg culture trail
Cornfields, vines and wildflowers. The "Kulturweg Petersberg" meanders gently around the mountain to the top. At 246 meters high, Petersberg is not the highest elevation in Rheinhessen, but very much the one with the most beautiful 360-degree panoramic view. On top, moreover, once rested a medieval crypt, today reconstructed as a monument.
