Jordan`s sub mill <\/a>in K\u00f6ngernheim has been offering its guests the finest culinary delights for many years. For some time now, a modern spa and wellness hotel has also been part of the family business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I sit at a desk for most of the day\ndesk, I often have to deal with tension. Therefore I book\nfor me the massage Individuality & Character - 25 minutes of relaxation,\nthat sounds promising. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winter world in the Laubenheimer H\u00f6he<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The name already suggests it - the Hofgut Laubenheimer H\u00f6he<\/a> is beautifully situated on a hill of the Rhine-Hessian hilly landscape and lies directly on the RheinTerrassenWeg. In the cold season, the Hofgut is transformed into a winter wonderland with the highest ice rink in the Rhine-Main region. From Tuesday to Sunday, you can pirouette on the ice rink, enjoy a cozy time with friends and family over mulled wine and all kinds of treats, or awaken your sporting spirit with curling. Groups can also stop by the cozy fireplace hut and enjoy hearty food by the crackling campfire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first I drive very slowly; a little\nI dare to move forward meter by meter. But that changes quickly:\nMore and more courageously, I make my rounds, enjoying the pleasantly cool air on my face.\non my face. The runners scrape quietly over the ice. First we are greeted by Sebastian Engel\nfriendly welcome; we toast together with a fruity glass of Meyerhofspritzer\nSecco. He then gives us a tour of the farm. I let my gaze wander\nover wooden barrels, stainless steel tanks and wine bottles. In an extremely entertaining\nvintner tells us all sorts of interesting things about the family business and the\nfamily business and the individual steps of winemaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, we test a total of eight wines in the stylishly furnished vinotheque - Sebastian Engel pours us two wines per round and we each taste a chocolate creation from Wormser Chocolaterie Holzderber<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the one hand, I find it very exciting to compare the two wines.\nto compare the two wines with each other. On the other hand, it's great fun for me,\nIt is incredibly fine and melts pleasantly on the tongue.\non the tongue. I particularly like the apple chips in\ndark chocolate - they go perfectly with my favorite of the evening, the\nfine-tart Riesling. My conclusion: wine and chocolate - they go very well together.\ntogether. Sebastian Engel also proves that it's not just red wine that goes well with chocolate.\ntastes good with chocolate: White wine and ros\u00e9 also harmonize wonderfully with the sweet delicacies.\nsweet delicacies.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the wine and chocolate tasting\nFinally, the next highlight: The Meyerhof team hands us five deliciously\nfive deliciously fragrant tarte flamb\u00e9e. Whether classic, Mediterranean or oriental:\nThey all taste excellent; my favorite is the Flammkuchen Italiener with\nwith smoked ham, fresh tomatoes, arugula, Parmesan cheese and balsamic cream. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A sweet conclusion may not be missing of course also\nmissing: The sweet tooth in me is thrilled about another, this time sweet\nsweet tarte flamb\u00e9e with berries. Full and happy, we let the evening\nslowly fade away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winegrowing family calls its Meyerhof, which incidentally is a winery, guesthouse and Vinotheque<\/a> in one, gladly as an event winery. With their lovingly organized events, they more than live up to this claim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those were my recommendations for the\ncold season. Whether it's soothing relaxation, gentle exercise or culinary\nenjoyment: for every need, Rheinhessen is guaranteed to have the right\noffer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
